Lazy:
Lou used to do a lot of running around and exercise in his youth, so he still has good health and a lot of energy, but because of a messed up sleep pattern and years of waiting around, he sort of stopped having the will to be as active as he used to be, typically lying around or napping.

Lovey:
Although a lot of polyamorous people tend to be thought of as having an excuse to "sleep around", Lou identifies as such purely based on the fact that he can't just love one person. He is a very romantic and amorous person, and no matter how many people he's dating, he will always make them feel special.

Trusting and Trustworthy:
Quite strangely so for a stray dog [even though he still refuses to believe he's a stray], Lou trusts almost any human. He grew up around humans and as such has always seen them as kind and helpful, even with a few bad experiences. Not only that, but he's a very good dog to trust, he would do anything for anyone, keep secrets that need to be kept and never lie to anyone, or at least he's yet to do so at all yet.

Airhead:
Lou is sweet, and really kind, but he's dumb as a bag of rocks. He's terrible with numbers, typically can't solve the simplest of problems and forgets a lot of things. He always has his glasses either on his eyes or on his head, and yet he still manages to lose them constantly.

Closet Perv:
He would never ever admit it, but Lou is a HUGE pervert. He near constantly has sexual things in his head and when he's not paying attention he can sometimes find himself quite flustered over nothing, but will outright refuse to acknowledge it if someone brings it up. As sweet and friendly as he is, when things get sexual, he thoroughly enjoys it, and can, depending on his parter, get quite kinky.

History:
As a pup, Lou was originally trained to be a hunting dog, being taken out every season for the local hunt, and it was one of the most fun times of his life. When he was almost a year old, Lou suffered an injury in his left front leg and couldn't race any more, and was going to be put down, until the sister of his hunting master decided to adopt him. It didn't take the dog that long to fit into the normal family life, eventually forgetting all about his previous master and enjoying the good life, he didn't even have to work, he was quite a pampered pooch. But then his owner started to get sick. Lou didn't know any better, and just thought she would get better in due time. When he was 2 and a half years old, his owner took him on a walk to the park, which she didn't do much any more, and told him she had to go to a special store out of town, and that he couldn't go back to the house until she came back. Lou didn't think anything of it at the time, and so hugged his owner and was quite confused when she started crying as she left. Little did he know, she was dying, she had a fatal disease and was going to the hospital, and she would have hated for her precious Lou to see her get into that kind of state. She had sold her house and put everything in her will to Lou, but he couldn't get anything out of it until he actually knew she was gone, which she knew felt a little cruel, but seemed to be her only option at the time. The owner died a mere week after leaving Lou at the park, the bench that he's been going to every single day for over two years now. He still thinks she'll come back, and it's just a matter of waiting.

Extra information:

The injury that Lou got when he was younger was getting his leg caught in a bear trap, and he has a rather nasty scar around the wrist area, which is why he always wears a little sweatband there.

Lou loves all kinds of men, women, and everything in between. Strong women, effeminate men, cute genderqueer folk. Short, tall (even though it would be rather difficult to find someone taller than him), skinny, chubby, muscular, lithe, you name it, he probably loves it.

He specifically has a weakness for strong people and butts. Butts on just about anyone, he loves a big, soft butt. Strong people he likes to fight for their attention, as he likes the challenge, this being the same reason he likes "tsunderes" and the like, he enjoys the chase.

Although his front leg is healed, Lou sometimes has a hard time running as a dog, and so needs to slow down a lot of the time.

Although he's Poly, Lou always makes sure that his orientation isn't a bother to anyone he's dating, and feels much more comfortable if all his partners know about the situation, maybe even knowing each other, maybe not, either way, as long as everyone is understanding and happy, he is fine with it.

Although he is an "irish" wolfhound, his accent is mostly a south-west English accent, with only a slight tinge of irish.
